As the awards season roll around, I can’t help but feel a little left out. Even our dismal excuse for an ‘Indian blogosphere’ seems to sycophantically celebrate the achievements in the blogosphere (what an inane word) by handing out awards incestuously, to the same group of so called ‘elite’ Indian male bloggers year after year with infinitesimal changes from one year to the next.
What we at flog the blog strive to do is to not ‘shine’ a spotlight on lesser known blogs. Don’t expect that kind of weepalicious charity cow-feces here. We will follow the herd of ‘elite’ Indian male blogger grovel-ers and amiably bow to their god-like status in the ‘blogosphere’ and dedicate a whole set of awards (to them) formulated from our own irreverent ideas.
So without further ado, we present to you...
THE INDIFLOGGIES!
Categories include:
Most undersexed award of the year (aka the award to fight tooth and nail for)
-Phony braggadocio award.
-Dukhi Atma of the year award.
-Blog post that made you want to torch the Blogger HQ award.
-Blogger most likely to not have interacted with the female of the species ever, except for his mother award.
-Most bereft of all rhyme or reason blogger aka surefire candidate for the assisted living facility award.
-Most compelling case against free speech award.
- The Dilip Kumar award for the most exhaustive use of blogger and wordpress server space.
If you still have a hard time wrapping your mind around the idea that these awards are reserved ONLY FOR THE MEN or if you are afflicted with a severe case of ADD then I will repeat: These awards are only reserved for the divine male Indian ‘elite’ bloggers.

Flogging Ek Sau Ek
Humaare vishesh hindi paathakon ke liye,
Vaijayanthi Ben ka Namashkar! "Flog the Blog" par aapka swaagat hai.
Flogging maane kya? Bhaison ko maarte hain na? Usi ko flogging bolte hain.
Aaj kal tee-vee par anek tarah ke awaard pesh kiye jaa rahe hain, jaise oscar, fillumfare, vagairah vagairah.
Usee tarah Blogbhumika par kaii bloggeron ka vishesh sammaan indibloggies dwaarah kiya jaa raha hai. Lekin humein lagta hai ki in awaard nominesans mein bahut paalitiks ho rahee hain.
Gaur se is maamle ki jaanch kiye jaane par hum is nateeje par pahoonche hai ki har saal unhee bloggers ko awaard diye jaa rahein hai. Angrezi mein ise... depotism kehte hain na? Kindly Escuse, hum to sirf forath istandard tak padhe hain.
"Flog the Blog" par hum chote chote bloggeron ki ninda nahin karenge. Humaare website par aapko dukhiyaari gobar nahi milega. Hum apnee tirchi nazar keval blogbhumika ke devtaaon par rakhenge. Hum humaare awaard dwaarah in vishesh mahapurushon ka aadar-samaan karna chahte hain.
